Temporary RRFB Cart Version
BFE Solutions Cart-Mounted Temporary Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB)
BFE Solutions’ new cart-mounted Temporary Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) is designed to help protect vulnerable road users by increasing pedestrian visibility and improving driver awareness. This easy-to-deploy system is ideal for temporary traffic control applications, including school zones, special events, and emergency situations.
This MUTCD-compliant solution alerts drivers to pedestrian activity at temporary or existing sidewalk crossings through high-intensity, DOT-compliant flashing LED lights. Federal Highway Administration studies show that RRFB systems can reduce pedestrian-related incidents by up to 47% and increase motorist yield rates by up to 98% (FHWA-SA-21-053).
